Christian has spent more than 25 years at the forefront of digital and evolved his expertise alongside the internet itself, from early web builds to mobile platforms, data systems, automation and now AI strategy.

He built his first website at 14 in 1998 and after studying Journalism, he entered the professional world at the point digital communications were transforming organisations. From there he built a blend of storytelling, audience psychology and technical understanding that has shaped his career since.

Christian joined Chelsea Football Club in 2007, where he played a key role in digital strategy and growth. He helped expand web traffic from 400,000 unique visitors per month to over 6.5 million unique visitors per week during a period of explosive digital growth that required scaling platforms, deepening fan engagement and building digital infrastructure capable of supporting a new global audience.

Christian then moved into motorsport in 2013, where he helped digitise fan experiences and modernise how audiences interacted with teams and brands, which further strengthened his expertise in engagement technology and data-led digital ecosystems.

By 2014, he was building bespoke software and applications for both internal business operations and customer-facing platforms, focusing on systems that track data, refine customer journeys and automate processes to drive operational efficiency. This work led to the launch of Apportunity, a digital app development business helping organisations adapt to a mobile-first world by increasing engagement, gathering valuable user data and improving direct communication with their audiences.

Before launching AI Expert, he founded Nifty Communications in 2018, where he's applied his experience across sectors to help businesses grow through performance-driven digital strategy, marketing automation and data-led engagement.

Christian brings a rare mix of board‑level commercial experience and hands‑on digital expertise. He’s worked with start‑ups, SMEs and multinationals, guiding leadership teams through technology adoption that sticks. He has worked across the full digital spectrum, from consumer engagement and communications through to backend architecture, software systems and operational automation. This knowledge and experience now underpins his leadership at AI Expert, where he helps organisations navigate AI with clarity and ensures adoption is commercially sound, securely governed and aligned with real business priorities.
